Some time in November, I'm swapping the 17" street wheels for my 15" mudrunners. I'm getting either the Bridgestone Duelers or the General Grabber AT2s  from TireRack.com. Gotta get ready for the snow and ice.

I recently purchased the Hypertech Power Programmer from  a fellow BFer.  (Thanks!)  I haven't been able to test it yet, because I'm still working on the cooling system problem.  Once all current codes are addressed, I will then start tweaking.

My mechanic has talked me out of doing a manual tranny swap, as well as the 350 swap and supercharger installation.  He says my engine is in top mechanical condition, so he'd rather do an upgrade of the engine block itself.  He said he's done it already on three other Blazers.  Two of the three other owners are dead because they didn't respect their Blazers' newfound power.  He says he can get at least 300 HP out of a Vortec without even adding a supercharger or turbo.  I'm still a little skeptical, so now I really want to see him do it!  If he's telling the truth, I'll post it in here.  I will be assisting him throughout the whole process, so I can learn the ropes.

This reminds me...For the life of me, I can't remember which thread I had posted, where we were talking about power gains.  I said that I suspected my mechanic had done something (good) to my truck the last time I had taken it to him.  He told me what it was:  he put in a bigger fan.  I noticed while we were working on the cooling system that when the engine was running, the fan was blowing really hard in my face, which it hadn't done before.  He confirmed that he had replaced it with a heavy-duty one.  It makes a big difference, believe it or not!

Another project I've been contemplating is restoring an old-school Grand Prix -- 1973-77. However, I want to use my Blazer as a way to get my hands dirty first.

Within the next month or two:
Install ProComp 9000 shocks
New ball joints upper/lower on both sides
Poly bushings on all the front end
2in body lift
31x10.5 Maxxis buckshot mudders

Within the next 6 months or so:
semi cheap paint job...might just prep it myself and let macco spray it.
I want to remove the carpet interior and replace it with vynil interior out of a junkyard blazer, if I can get my hands on leather seats I will upgrade to those as well...and pretty much everything else I can rip out of one that was fully loaded.

Also need to redo my exhaust soon so I may stuck a flowmaster 40 on it...i may do that sooner...not sure

Are the H3 seats the same as the Canyon/Colorado seats? If they are, it'd be worth the swap... those things are comfortable!

As for me... It'll take me awhile, because I need oodles of cash, lol, but, here goes:

5.3L V8 swap
T-56 transmission swap, if mine bites the bullet behind the 5.3
Heavy duty clutch when mine burns out from towing more than 3,900 lbs...
6" superlift
2" or 3" body lift
waiting for instructions and/or a kit for a hidden winch on the front of the rig (hint hint Jigg, LOL)
possible solid axle up front, if I get a purdy daily driver while the V8 gets ready to be put in (probably easier to do with the engine out, lol)
power windows and power locks
cruise control

and other stuff I haven't thought of or can't remember right now...

I wanna get a light rack/luggage rack for the roof and fabricate
a tire rack to go with it
30 in tires on black wheels.
