Well, I got the nw instrument cluster (used) and the Service Enine Soon light is functioning as it should....I went for reinspection and it showed NOT READY so still no sticker. I hooked up my scanner, have put over 160 miles on the truck. It has been through 3 cold start cycles and I still can not get past NOT READY on my Scan Guage II. It says NO CODES FOUND - NOT READY. It will scan if truck has sat for a couple of minutes and is NOT RUNNING. Start it and bck to NOT READY. Any ideas? Below is what the report read after my last try:

Engine misfire - Ready
Fuel System Performance - Ready
Comprehensive Component - Ready
Catalytic Converter Efficiency - Not Ready
Heated Catalyst - Not Available
Evaporative Emissions Control System - Not Ready
Secondary Air System - Not Ready
AC Refrigerant - Not Available
O2 Sensors - Ready
Heated O2 Sensor - Ready
EGR Flow - Ready

Any ideas? I am getting frustrated....Thanks for all the help so far, the responses have been great!

Just a tip, but please try to keep this in one thread instead of spreading it around.

Have you completed the exact drive cycle?

Thanks for the tip Kyle. As a newbie, I am still not sure of the protocols....

ANyway, excuses aside, no, not the exact drive cycle. I can get close but the driving conditions around me may force me to be more creative if that is what I need to do.

I get the cold start and idle, but can not accelerate and hold 55 before temp reaches 122 where I live. Once on the road, hold 55 for 3 minutes then coast but again not in a place to accelerate to 60 right away. Accelerate to 60 and hold steady for 5 mins. as soon as practical. Coast again to about 30 mph then accelerate and hold to 55. I have done this 3 times so far. Probably do it  whenI return from dropping wife at airport (in her car LOL)once again today.

Thanks again Kyle!
