Hello, i have a 1980 I6 250 ci Blazer K5. I have a problem, the suspension tends to jump when i pass on a rough road. I am thinking on install two shock absorbers beside each wheel.

Is it a real solution?

Greetings

what do you mean by jump do you mean Hop like its got wheel hop if that is the case i would change the shocks out with new ones also if your suspension just seems to be all over the place then i would look into inspecting your bushings ball joints inspect the whole suspension and steering linkage

I would say shocks as well.  One quick way to tell is to jump off the front bumper and see how long it takes for the front end to stop moving up and down.

As far as ball joints go, there aren't any in the conventional sense on a solid front axle truck.
