I was just wondering what kind of music you listen to when your driving around.   I personally listen to alot of southern country and when i go offroading it usually turns into heavymetal...

Alter Bridge, which (in genre) is a cross between Metal, Hard Rock, and Alternative.  Otherwise I may listen to some contemporary christian, some 80s metal, and classic rock hits.

I listen to a lot of things. Rock (all types: classic, heavy, metal, etc.) on the road sometimes country or rap.Otherwise when I am off roading it is country or some rock. Anything that pounds the subs

I tend to go through phases with music. I listen to pretty much anything in the rock genre. Lately for the past few months I've been listening to "Tool" pretty heavily.

the chimes hanging from my sun visor chiming as I bump and manuver over rough terrain...I actualy don't listen to music that much in my truck....road trips are another story...but that goes back to the days of mixed tapes...ahhhh mixed tapes...hours spent listening to the radio trying to capture that song your were dying to hear....trying to create the perfect mood for what ever it was you were trying to do

...and calling and calling and calling the radio station to get them to play that particular song so you could record it? Thats what my Dad told me he did.

I listen to litterly almost anything.  When I am offroading I listen to Country.  Like Brad Paisly Mud on the tires, Alabama, Chris Ledoux, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, etc.  Kind of gets me in the mood lol.

Usually whatever is on either Octane (Hard Rock) or HardAttack (Heavy Metal, Harcore Rock) on sirius, sometimes Shade45 (rap) or Area33 (techno). If not sirius, then a cd. I currently have Big & Rich, Daughtery, Hatebreed, and Eminem in my car right now. Most of the time, it's whatever my mood is lol.

Haha thats an interesting mix of cds... as one of my friends says, I'm constipated about my music. I mainly listen to some form of metal (just picked up The War Within by Shadows Fall, its amazing), sometimes the 5 rap songs I have lol.

Yeah, I'm with you WhiteTieBlackJacket. I wish they had someone like Disturbed vocals or Static-X vocals or something. I don't mind it terribly, but it gets to be a bit much after a while. I like Kamelot too, but they are the same way.
