On top of trying to get a drivetrain that will handle the new diesel, you are going to have to fabricate mounts for the engine and tranny, find of have cutom made driveshafts, figure out how to change over the fuel system to diesel eg. lift pumps, find an ecm to run the engine (unless it's mechanically injected) and firgure out how to get the information from the engine and tranny to relate to the gauges in your dash cluster. Very big job, it would be neat to see it done. I happen to have a diesel blazer but it's a K1500 and it came from the factory with it. If you're just looking for power and perfomance look into doing a 350 V8 conversion, those engines are compadible with the V6 tranny's (unless it's a 2.8) and most sensors, modules etc are interchangable. there are many manufacters that make these kits, Hooker Headers are doing them now and also headers made for the V8 conversion.
