whats your opinion on fosgate subs as far as reliability and competition? I am getting two 12'' hx2's, i had 3 10'' hx2's in my maxima and they pounded.

The HX2's handle a good load of power. The 3 10'' HX2's i had pounded so smoothly and nicely without distortion, but on a side note they need a bullet proof box for them, i blew the box i had them in apart, like fully apart. The box was a prefabed one from audio express for three 10'' subs. I had to take what was left out and put it back together stronger, with the help from a friend.

Just sayin.. from what I have seen at shows Memphis is always up there with the rest.. I'm no expert or anything, just observations. Thats why its called an opinion, it's all good though.

Thanks jagblazer01 for the advice, i'm pretty stuck on those fosgate subs, plus im getting them real cheap. If i blow them, then i will look into those eclipse woofers.

i think you can go wronge eith fosgate subs for good daily driver subs. i had a 12" HX2 for about a week and lovedit and sols it to a buddy when he blew one. it was pretty loud.
as far a the memphis issue goes. i have also seem them do pretty well in comps but u di=ont consider them anywhere close to being called king

I had 2, 10" hx2 in my explorer and they pounded nicely.

And yeah, blazinloud. That was some pretty weird weather we had in Calgary. But it made me happy to see the snow.( I board)
