I say put a pair of these in a nicely tuned ported box (or bandpass if you want strictly SPL - one note wonder boxes).

Honestly Im a little suprised you guys know who dayton is. They arent exactly a popular brand. Good to hear they are gaining popularity. I have a dayton 15" IB in my sedan and its a fantastic piece of equipment. I also have dayton large format tweets and 5.25"s in my home theater setup.

What type of sound are you looking to get? Are you looking for pure SPL or SQ based drivers? What is your price range? How many drivers and what size? Need more info before I can help you out.
