what you can do is get some different springs and shocks go for a softer riding setup check with your local part store.

well if you lower the front you would be compressing the front making it a stiffer ride as for the rear if you take the overload leaf out it will soften the rear up

when you lower the front your compressing the suspension if you lift it your taking stress off with the shocks in the rear it shouldn't be bouncy plus you have the other leafs in there its not like your mono leafing it (which is only leaving one leaf in when lowering it )

go to the part store or an offroad place and see about softer shocks for the front that should help smoothin out your ride nicely

i dont think adjusting the tbars would really help.  it will also put more stress on other front suspension components. you might think about checking all of the bushings and joints. make sure they are all in working order and grease whichever ones you can....        shocks will also help. they made a big difference for me, however i wanted mine stiffer and less bouncy.

well i changed the shocks in the rear made a big diff no reason to remove over load spring.
found out some one put heavy duty shocks all the way around the truck.

There should never be a real reason to remove a spring unless you are looking to lower your vehicle or someone put over load springs on.

Glad you got it fixed!

I installed load assist shocks that had 250lb springs on them that allowed me to carry more weight in the back of my Bravada.  They worked very well, but I wish I had gone to air shocks due to the easy deflation for better ride.  Even as it was with the coil over shocks, it wasn't that bad of a ride.  It's a truck afterall.  The Bravada suspension was a bit softer than Blazer's or Jimmy's.

another thing you can do if you really want to soften the ride and still be able to tow with a level ride is helper bags
