1989 s-10 4x4....4.3L...My question is...My vehical seems to have sway from side to side and a knock coming from the rear of the vehical when i make a left hand turn.....as far as the suspension is concerned i have only installed sensa-trac schocks....Has anyone ever experienced such problems if so ur input will be greatly appreciated...thanks in Advance

I don't know if your truck includes a rear anti-roll bar, but if it does, check your links on the rear roll bar. Even if it doesn't, check over the suspension on all 4 corners. Look for anything out of place and compare side to side. Even if you don't know what you are looking for/at, you'll be able to tell if there is something awry.

I would agree, it sounds like one of your anti-sway bar bolts has broken off. That or a shock mount has busted free, but that is usually on struts, not shocks.

You might also check the panhard bar that locates the rearend from side to side. Bushings maybe worn or maybe also be a broken mount location or bolt.
