ok i found this amp at bestbuy and on the internet snoopin around. my question is what do u think of it i can get it off of ebay for 150-175......i think the amp i have for my sub right now is not powerful enough cuz when i turn it up it doesnt sound as good and i know most subs dont but i only have 200 watts rms running to a 500 watt rms sub right now....by the way its a 4ohm sub

i think the question is more towards the idea of buying it off of ebay then best buy my answer if its the exact model and its a good amp go for it

im sure you could find better amps for cheaper. kenwood isnt that great, but theyre not terrible.

i personally hate car audio kenwoods i have a HU and a pair of 6x9's the speakers took a **** a month after i got them and the headunit just does wierd **** i say to stay away from kenwood when it comes to cars but home audio they are good

so whats a good amp i could do instead of this cause ive heard the kenwoods are good but if u guys say there not then i dont want to get it so help me figure out something that would be about 500 watts rms and a mono amp

your kinda limited when your running a 4ohm load. is the sub dual voice coil? if not, then heres some nice ones you could use:

this would do 400 at 4 ohm. or you could pick up another 4 ohm sub (type r im guessing by your avatar) and give em 800w together. PG is a very good company, very nice sound quality.

excellent choice. i had the JL 1000/1 (which is vitually the same amp just more watts), and they are rock solid. excellent sound quality. and they are underated. i believe the 500/1 actually puts out 600-650w.
