Hi guys,
I have a 88 K5 Blazer with a 305 engine and 2 injector TBI and when engine is cold or even after sitting for 15 minutes or more the engine does not start. If I take off the top of the air cleaner and give it a shot of starting fluid it fires right up and runs perfect, goes right to smooth idle and all. Can anyone tell me what controls or how the cold start enrichiner system works on these ? This truck is new to me and only aquired it in Sept because I needed a truck with a plow for my driveway and got a great deal on it. Any help you guys can gice would be greatly appreciated, thanks !
