honestly I could care less about the boom. I am more of an SQ guy so its all about the kick panels and getting proper staging, tonality, and imaging. I started glassing the kicks the other day. Ive been really busy with my daily driver. I got my digital sound processor in the other day and have been running new wires and making it look pretty.

ok so I have NO idea what happened but my amp is working again. Wierd. I am very confused about that one. Anyways, ive got the bumps again in the blazer but it is still too cold to be doing any glassing. Eventually I will get a space heater but for now im pre-occupied with a bunch of other things. Just figured id update you all.

false floor will be the last to go in since it is the last piece. My subs and amp are still sale pending. If they do end up selling, the whole design will end up changing anyways so Im waiting for a definite yes or no before I continue with the floor. The kicks are the only definite project right now.

looks like I am getting 4 8" subs to replace the single 12" beast I have now. Just need to come up with a nice enclosure design. Ideas are endless... just need to chose one haha.

HAHA i can type you ideas till my hands fall off. What I need to keep in mind is that should I ever need to take all 3 dogs somewhere, the subs need to be protected frm being trampled. I could do 2 behind each front seat downfiring in a "V" shape. or I could do all 4 behind the drivers seat up firing but out at angles (kind of like a flower?) with the port upforing right in the middle. Or I could do a crazy FG contraption. The list goes on and on. Wouldnt mind doing something with plexglass again.

they are pretty nice.  good sound.  the fs was a little high for my tastes, as i was running them sealed.  they were powered by an audison amp.  I was actually thinking about putting one in each of my parents jeeps (just to fill out the music)

Im going more SQL with my truck.  I think 2 for sure(maybe 4) rl-i 8s under my back seat powered by this amp(i have it sitting in my closet collecting dust, and its one of my fav amps all time)

nice. Id like to sell all my gear and go all alpine PDX amps in the blazer. I already have a pair of the PDX amps in my sedan (SQ car) and love them. the new JL amps with the icepower technology look promising too but am fearfull of the price.
