as all of us know once your t-bars are cranked, it puts the ball joints at a horrible angle. specifically the upper ball joint. ive already lost one while driving (not fun) and have replaced them numerous times. so i had an idea. im thinking of cutting some material from the upper control arm behind the ball joint and bending it up, reducing the angle put on the ball joints. cutting some steel up to fill in the gaps and re welding the arms back up. then getting an alignment. everyone ive talked to about it said it should help some but id like some other opinions
thanks guys

its a great idea another option if you want to spend the money is by getting tubular upper control arms they are done in a way to reduce ball joint stress and also have adjustable camber to them they are pretty sweet otherwise if you go your way you will need to reinforce around the upperjoint on the top of the control arm with gussets to prevent bend back good luck hope this helps

oh yeah i planned on gusseting the control arm hardcore
im also considering making tubular arms that use heim joints instead of ball joints. but id prefer to use a TIG for those and i dont own one yet lol
thanks man!

werd. i got some pics of tubular arms with heims (theyre on a taco) and i could mig it but id much rather use a TIG for them. but if it was up to me a TIG would be all that i used lol
