Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and I am looking for some help.

I have a 2001 Blazer ZR2 (4.3L) and last winter I began having issues with the 4WD. Basically it will not engage. It does have the standard push button system that is operated from the bash. Whenever you push the button to go into 4WD the 4WD high light flashes for a minute but then goes back to 2WD. I have read this could be related to a bad motor or bad relay.

Question 1 - where would this fuse/relay be located? I can hear it click but I know that doesnt mean its working...
Question 2 - I recently noticed a vacuum line that was just hanging there sucking air. Its located near the firewall on the drivers side. Any idea if this could be related to the 4WD? I know old systems required a vacuum to engage but I am not sure about the new motorized ones.
Question 3 - I think its safe to assume this line shouldnt be pulling in air all the time. Any idea where a vacuum line in this location might be going? If I know were it is suppose to connect maybe I can back track to fix the problem. If needed, I can post a photo tomorow AM.

Sorry if I seem to be a novice on this but I would be really thankful for any knowledge you can share.

there is a fuse in the fuse panel on the drivers side dash. i think its number 14 or 16 but im not positive. mine experienced similar problems and the only thing i had to do was replace the fuse and it worked fine.
