HOLY COW! Here in Texas you get a felony for murder and other really serious stuff! Where do you live?

Oh, never mind, I see you're in New York.

That sucks. Then you won't be able to possess a firearm (unless your state/provincial laws are different than in NC).

Brent, I doubt he'll get a felony conviction.  It'll mostlikely be plead down to a misdemeanor charge with quite a bit of community service.

I hope so. It would suck to get a felony conviction for donuts. Unless they get you for destruction of public property... but I know, I'm pessimistic.

That sucks, luckily in the UP people don't care cause snowmobile trails, seasonal roads, and off road trails/ logging roads all look the same when there is no snow on them. Well welcome to the forum. Hope your court thing goes well, thats pretty ridicuolous charges.

That is really ridiculous that they charged you with a felony for that.  The cops up there must have too much time on their hands or something. Down here in Bmore, they don't even seem to consider a B&A a bad offense.  Good luck.
