I have a 1991 Chevy S-10 blazer 4x4 v6 automatic. The 4x4 transfer case will not not disingage out of 4 Low. I Tried to unhook the electrical
connection on drivers side transfer case (6-10 wire connection with a small bolt) also removed the tccm fuse with no success. I unhooked the vacum connection on the transfer case containing 3 vaccum lines and that only unlocked the front axles. but the transfer case is still locked in low. any suggestions would be appreciated. This vehicle does have the electric 4 low and 4 high switch on the dash. Thanks In Advance.

You have to drive real slow! 3mph or under then press the button into 2HI

I thought i was stuck in 4LOW as well all I did was drive at 2mph switch from Drive to Nuetral and pressed 2HI and it transfered back.

I have had this problem happen to me. You Need to press the 4hi Switch multiple times for it to go back to 2wd. Thats what I have to do when it won't transfer back into 2wd

I read in the car manual the other day if the truck doesn't go back into 2wd from 4lo, go 3mph or lower, or just stop the truck, put it in neutral, put it in 4hi, then put it back to 2wd and it should diengage.

first off you if put this in the tech section you might get some more answers. Second..(I don't know if you know this or not) You can't go from 4low into 2wd. My truck has to be in park, I hit the 4hi, then when I engage it into drive, it goes into 4hi...then to 2wd. Also, one trick to get a vehicle out of a certin gear. Drive the truck backwards about 50 feet or so. Then attempt to get it into the gear you require.
