Whats up people, I have a few questions for you guys. I wanted to know your opinion on which exhaust I should go with. I want to either get a dual spintech catback exhaust with 2 1/4 piping and some nice 3 inch tips, or a single spintech catback exhaust with 2 1/2 piping with a nice dual tip exiting after the back left tire. Now which one would you think will be better for the engine in the long run, maintaining proper back pressure and everything? I was thinking that the single would yeild better power and would also be cheaper. Please people help me out with the decision. This is on a 2000 blazer with the 4.3.

Thanks in advance!

I asked that same question too for the most part. I'am thinking about putting on cat-back duals with 3" tips on mine. All what was pretty much said to me was to go to a muffler shop and get one custom made since it's pretty hard (extremely hard in my case[2001 xtreme]) to find any type of an exhaust system take into consideration of the 4 doors, ZR2 models, etc. (which I've found plenty). I really don't see much of a problem with back pressure, etc. unless you really care about it. I'd say it's a personal preferrence. (My goal is the dual exhaust).

I WENT TO MEINEKE, GOT A 2 CHAMBER SINGLE IN DUAL OUT 2.1/4" PIPING EXITING OUT THE REAR WITH 2 STAINLESS STEEL MAGNAFLOW OVAL ROLLED TIPS. COST ABOUT 450 INSTALLED, LOOKS AND SOUNDS GREAT. HATED IT WHEN I FIRST PICKED UP, BOUGHT SOUND CHANGED ONCE EXHAUST WAS BROKEN IN.
