Common problems with pretty much any aftermarket headlamp like that is poor sealing. Many of them have inadequate sealing between the clear front lense and the rear section, typically just piss poor friction welding. If you do go with these, try to thoroughly clean this area on the outside of the headlamps and then take a good silicone based sealant that hardens up (RTV will do) and get a good coat over this area to minimize the risk of moisture buildup in the headlamps.

Other than that, the look pretty sweet. If no one else has tried them, the you really don't know what the beam pattern is going to be like, not to mention if they are even DOT approved, which may fail you on an inspection depending on the restrictions in your state/area.

DOT approved, but doesn't mean you'll get a bad batch, or the quality didn't go down afterward. Never had problems with aftermarket corners in the Cougar, but had others have problems from the same company. Just depends on the particular ones you get. I say go for it. I've always loved those. Friend has them on his Explorer. They look sweet at night.
