Hello everyone.I have a question.I just bought a 1989 K5 Blazer and its great.I only have 1 concern.Whenever I am in over drive and I just lightly give it more gas to the point where is about to go into passing gear its starts to vibrate pretty good.I either have to hit the gas harder to put it in passing gear or let off the gas.Anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

What speed are you travelling, what kind of load ( uphill, level ground) when you experience the problem?
Have you tried shifting down a gear to "D3" to see if there's a difference? (it could be thet the converter is trying lock up or unlock) Possibly a week TTC soenoid.

Where do you feel the vibration? Steering wheel or drivers' seat?

Sorry, that should be TCC solenoid. (Torque converter clutch solenoid.) I was very tired when I wrote the last post and my spelling was poor.
I'd just like to be sure that it's a transmission related vibration before you start replacing parts, which is why I asked more questions.
