hey noob here and i just purchased a pioneer avx-p8dvd and foolishly i didn't see what the different websites said wehter it fit or not, but my question for you is does any one have one of these in thier blazer??? mine is a 2000. also the webite i was looking at said that none of the pionner in dash dvd players fit? i am thinking that maybe i am going to have to custom mount it??? i know that on my cavalier that i had to cut the back on the dash out b/c it wouldn't let the h/u slide all the way back...
is this something common on the blazer as well??

thanks for any input

-Dave

i honestly have no idea if it will fit or not. but what you should do, it take out your stereo and take some measurements or literally just set it in place and see if it fits. you may have to have a custom dash kit made from fiberglass or something, but it would probably be worth it in the end

Maybe have a choice between the flush-mount mounting bracket and the one that sticks out an inch. Might have to get the one that sticks out more.

This is probably the only one they make for yours:

Or this one might fit:
