Our first snowfall will probably happen sometime in Early to mid Febuary, it will involve 3-4,000 flakes (the weather people will predict a blizzard) that will either hit the ground and melt or never hit the ground at all.

And that will be the end of our Winter wonderland!  Oh, we will get lots of freezing rain at least!

Yeah thats usually how it goes here in NC. I wish we could get about a foot this year on any given weekday.

We had a dusting this morning in Appleton,WI but not much stuck. Up where I go to school (where I wish I was right now) got like 4-6" between yesterday and today and are due for more to come in the next couple days. I want to try out my new BFG At's in the snow but we never get enough to stick here (right now atleast).

In winter I like doing the following: Downhill skiing, playing around in the blazer, broomball (Michigan Tech style, like hockey without skates outdoors with ducttaped brooms), snowball fights, snowshoeing, exploring and taking pics.

wow....the lower west side of michigan is getting screwed with no snow...man I miss the UP...anyways...when we finally get snow...I like to use backboards (on the ambulance) to go tobaggoning ..(while at work)...build snowmen (yep..at work) um...I winter hike, camp...and it's absolutely the best time to go canoing...nothing like a fresh snow to make all the trees pretty...and no stinking tourists toting beer cans hung around the neck...oh and I forgot..making the ambulance do dough nuts in the parking lots...running over snowmen you just made...(you get creative when you are stuck in an ambulance for 14 hours a day..) fall, winter, and spring are my favorite seasons!

We had a light dusting yesterday, gone today, not even worth a picture.

I just like driving around in the snow when everyone else is parked and going nowhere.
Here's a pic from last year.

Haha, CL that pic is great. I do that in my truck.......only the hill is way smaller

snow, we already have ice on the rinks! got out a played hockey last weekend and managed to pull every muscle in my arms and back.

which still hurts over a week later

we had a pretty good snow storm yesterday, and cold as hell!  -25 or colder all week, that one day was -35.

haha, well I plugged in my block heater for the 1st time of the season, jumped in the truck in the morning and took off.

wondered why people were lookin at me weird, got out, and I was draggin the cord around.....haha stupid me

I like to do the same things in winter as I do in Summer.
Its just colder and hopefully covered with snow.

I like Paddles entertainment. Sounds like a great time.

yeah the day I made the best snowman of my life...snow arms and all...5 feet tall!! (slightly shorter than me...about 3 inches!!) it seriously was the best snow man ever...we got moved signal points....I backed the ambulance up...and gunned it....the front grill nailed him in the chest...and his head came off and smashed face first on the windshield!!! oh my gosh!!! It has to be one of the most satisfying and entertaining moments yet...(I made him with a angry frowny face....the expression was priceless smeared on the windshield...)

Nice I wish it would do that here in Central WI. I keep looking at the MTU webcams and am jealous that I am on co-op and not up there at school right now. I only have to wait another 3 weekends and I'll be up there for 2 days (hopefully with snow and maybe go skiing or practice up on broomball). Then after that its only 4 more weeks and I will be up there to enjoy the rest of the winter (YAYYY I can't wait!!!)

Our first snowfall that stayed happened on Wednesday.  We expect a storm to dump roughly 3 inches at least starting tomorrow night.  I live in Steamboat, one of the most popular ski resorts in Colorado.  You'd think i'd blow $1100 on a ski pass this year, but screw that.  I've been in snow all my life and i'm sick of it.  I think i'll just work, play video games, buy an engine for the Blazer, and buy a 2nd car this winter.
