hmm this thread has got me interested....On the site the wait4me site, it says that you can get a discount on your second car tuned...i wonder if there is any I can piggyback lol. But wow, this is alot cheaper than i thought it would be. Matt, you said they could do 1995s?

i finally got mine in. i LOVE it! there is not as much low-end power as i was hoping for (although, my expectations might have been a little too high) but when you punch it hard, it really takes off.

i have only had it in for a few days so i cant say much about gas mileage.

i just purchased a wait4me tune. i send my pcm out on monday. i purchased mine because i removed my egr (when i installed headers) and have changed my gear ratio (3.08-3.73) and tire size (205/75-275/60). i am currently running a jet stage 2 module, so i am not sure if i will see much of a power gain. i am tired of lookig at my cel due to no egr, so i am getting the program. i went down to my local junkyard and paid $40 for my exact pcm, so i will have no down time, and i dont have to pay the high cost through him for a pcm. plus i get to keep my stock one. looks like if all goes wll, i will sell my jet stage 2 module. it is only a couple of months old and i still have the original box & paperwork. if i choose to sell it, i will give a fellow bf member a great deal. cant wait to get it back. i will keep you updated on how it works out.

oh yea, HAPPY EASTER!!

got my pcm in, put it in, and big problems. my truck would not stay running. if it tried to idle and i gave it gas, it would stall instantly. i could not even get my truck to move. so i sent it back to him. he sent it back within a week. i put it in, and took my truck around the block. nice improvement, but now my check engine light is on. my scanner broke, so i have to take my truck to the local auto parts store and have them scan it for me. i wont be able to get this done until the end of the week. talk about luck. i will let you know if my light is on because of the tune, or if there is another problem.

If you didn't do a CASE relearn, the light could be caused by that...  If so, it may be P1345...

i thought that only had to be done on 98 and newer, and how would i go about doing this? is there a tool, or just dealership? i hope not just dealership, because that could get costly.

otnietdehoooo did you have the cel on after you got the new pcm?  If so what did you have to do to get rid of it?

There is a way to do it on the 98+ if you don't have a scanner, but it looks like for a 97 your only option is a scan tool...

I have read about the 'self CASE relearn' but no tuner shop/store endorses it as being 100%.

CLICK HERE FOR CASE RELEARN PROCEDURE DOCUMENT

Give it a try and see what happens.

Haha I gave my Range Rover to my girlfriend and she managed to blow the air suspension, and overheat the thing. They are just talented sometimes

Is your B&M kit you've got a new valve body assembly thing, or is it all electronic?

nothing electronic in the kit. the kit is all springs,a plug, gaskets, drill bits(to drill out the separator plate), spacers, filters, and some clips. not that hard to do, if you do as the instructions say. it takes longer to remove the valvebody and reassemble then it takes to install the shift kit. if you are looking to do this to your blazer, the part # is 70360. for 1993-2001 4l60e. i cant remeber the website, but alittle research for b&m performance should find it quick. these kits are cheap(money wise, good quality) and reliable. i put that on with a deep trans pan with drain plug, and added another trans cooler. my trans stays cool and shifts good.

my wife wrecked the front end of my blazer. i talked her into getting me a wings west kit for all the headache. delivery is scheduled for tomorrow. now i just need to get a new bumper.

You need to have a scanner with bi-directional controls.  My AutoEnginuity Scanner does this with the GM Enhanced protocols.
