For the last few days when I turn the key to shut off the motor I feel a shake in the car almost like if i lifted the clutch while the car was running and it stalled. I have started and shut off the car while on a lift and don't see it hit anything but it shake for about 3 seconds and then shuts down. anyone with a answer

I have changed the pump return and filter and it stopped for a few days but now its back less severe but still there.
What do you mean by check timing. I thought that was takin care of by the ECM?

Sounds like its dieseling after shut off, I don't remember what the cause and correction is for that but I know someone will have a better answer or an assist to mine!!

I didn't think fuel injected engines could diesel.  I guess if there's fuel leaking into the intake it could.
