I am looking for a pair of 1000 watt or higher subs.

And a amp that is atleast 1000 watts also.

The reason i am asking for some is that my buddy just got a pair of 800's with a 1000 watt amp and i need to blow him out of the water, mainly becouse he drives a gallant....

Well i really dont know what all you need.

All i know is that i am getting a sony aftermarket stereo in my 1993 chevy s-10 blazer 4*4

when it comes to blowing someone "out of the water" watts sometimes isnt the case. i have seen 2 JL 600Watt W7's blow out 2 1200 Watt Rockfards. so soemtimes you dont want to count on wattage to blow out your competition. do some research. find out what brands are good.

i highly recommend you no not get that headunit....it only has a 2v pre-out. Look for something with at least a 4v pre-out.

also look into kicker for some nice affordable subs and a hifonics amp. great sub amp combo.

i dont think i mentioned that i have only about 800 dollars and 900 max.

i know it is just anther complication. but i really need the help.

hey man do you want to blow ur whole town away im selling my 2 15" with a custom fiberglasss box made for a blazer with a 2600 watt amp. i had two of the amps hooked up but it blow in a compitition. I hit 147dp

2 well paired 10's and a nice amp will blow him out of the water with your Blazer. It's like a speaker box on wheels. I have 2 10" fosgates powered by a Massive 1,000.1 D Class amp and she can be pretty damn loud. Driving an SUV RAWKS!!!
