At 4K you're almost better off buying an engine from a rollover (here) and building that up with a cam, heads, etc. for nice dependable DD with some kick.

thats what i was thinking also, 4 grand is somethign i definatly wouldnt spen on a supercharger for a blazer, now if it was for a camaro or somethign in that nature then hell yeah id do it.

Or you could do a rear mount turbo yourself for much less.

Have a read through this:

and as you can see that kid has so many problems with a rear mount turbo

my cousin recently installed a 6 psi wynjammer supercharger in his 94 s10 for 3000$

he's had no problems with it whatsoever on his stock tranny (except for a shift kit) and stock motor
it beats the new v8 mustangs in a 1/4 mile

im gonna have to say im more partial to the prochargers they have maney different sizes and varieties of them and their price range is huge! my dad runs one on his 72 pushin over 30lbs of boost and over 1000 hp outa a 355!!! they are insane! it's the f1r.

ive herd that prochargers are good but they dont make a kit for our blazer that i could find on there website so whould i have to make a custom setup and if i did where do i even start?
