I have a 98 jimmy 4x4 SLT. I am wanting to raise it enough to get 30" Buckshot mudders on it. How many inch's should I raise it and should I use a body or suspension lift.

I have BFG All-Terrains 30/9.5R15 on my '00 and have had them on my '87. Both 4x4 S10-Blazers and they didn't rub on either truck.

I would think some mudders would probably end up rubbing a little bit, maybe not. Mudders will be a little more beefy than the all-terrains. It would be worth a shot with no lift but if they rub a little bit a 2 inch body lift should cure that.

Oh yeah if you are going to try the 30" with no lift first you will need to use the stock rims. Dont know if you were planning on using them or not.
