I own a 99 blazer 4X4. I needed to replace a wheel center cap on a five spoke painted wheel. I went to the local dealer and paid $34.32 for one. After getting home with the part and part number, I did a search and found the same part at http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ for $14.18.

I have learned my lesson on this one! If i had only known the part number in the begining then i would have saved a bunch of money!

It seems like you could build a blazer with the parts off that website. Yeah, generally, the dealers will try to overcharge you, just a heads up.

Actually, take that all the way through to the shopping cart and look at the shipping and handling. GMPartsDirect.com sucks big fat monkey balls when it comes to s&h. A $10 part could cost you $15 to get it to your door. Not to mention the fact that it generally takes ATLEAST 2 weeks to get what you ordered.

I'd rather pay the dealership price on A LOT of things before resorting to buying them off of GMPartsDirect.com
