Hey guys ummm, i think it was one of the admins on this site that I saw him say something about being able to place a corvette throttle body on the blazer motor. I was wondering if this would be possible on my 4.3L vortech motor. Its an 02

If you have any information please let me know. Thank you

yeah, I think that was me. This is just an article that I stumbled upon while looking for blazer performance parts. Here's the link to the thread:

thanks dude for that article, maybe if i have to keep this baby for 7 years. Which will prolly happen. That shaving the roof rack sounds real good as well looks good., but dude can you place a Corvette throttle body, just the throttle body on a stock vortech v-6 or should i just bore out the stock throttle body.

I'd say bore it out. I'm not sure if the corvette TB will fit or not. I read an article about a 4 banger S-10; they replaced the headers, pullies, intake, exhuast and tb and made some pretty damn good performance gains. I went to the web site to check out if they make a tb for a 6 cyl (which they don't). But if you have a 4 banger and want a larger tb, then go to www.stsperformance.com If not, then yeah, I would bore it out.

Do you know where i can get a set of underdrive pulley's that will still supply enough wattage the alternator to run a good sound system. PLUS where did you find those envoy door handles (where they hard to install).

go to the site that I stated above. They have pullies, intakes, TB's, etc. The under drive pullies that they have there are smaller and they supply the belt that goes with them. Since they are smaller, they will turn more quickly, so I believe that they would work the way you want them too. No, the door handles were not that hard to install. After you take the panel off, there is a door handle assembly to take off (you'll see it.) I had a hell of a time trying to get it off. So I took a screwdriver, a hammer and gave it a few love taps and it came right off. DO NOT use the metal bars that come with the new handles. Use your stock ones. Unhook a few latches, replace, reverse the process and you're good to go. I got them from www.gmpartsdirect.com Here are the part numbers:
