Lint roller will work like Jharper said, or you could use duct tape. Both work great.

^^^ That's what I was thinking, just take some duct tape inside out and it might work well.

I know they sell a dog hair brush, its all rubber instead you can try that or you can spray the carpet with water or windex just enough to mist it and then use a vaccum.

I have a small vacuum that has a beater bar on it that works great for removing hair and ground in dirt from interiors.  The whole beater bar head comes off of the rest of the vacuum for access in tight areas as well.

well im sure all those tricks would work great and thank you
but its even hard just to use my fingers and try pulling it out
i think that the fur has just been sitting in there embedded into it for years

maybe a good shampooing, vacuuming etc

put on a latex glove, and rub your hand one way, the static from the latex glove, pulls the dog hair together in clumps, then you just pick it up and throw it away, what ever is left, you can use the rubber dog brush and a vaccum.
