i think the inlet is offset and the outlet is centered.  it might be easier/cheaper to get a complete bolt-on system like dynomax

I love the raspy crackly sound of the glasspacks, theyre kinda weird at first but after a month or two they are awesome.

Can't you just clamp the exhaust? Because I don't mind having someone else weld my exhaust for me. I have a bunch of shops around here.

And I love the sound of a glasspack, too. I just don't think the old people do. :D

I was looking at the Super 44's and Super 40's.
Tell me which Super 40 you're looking at.

There are also sound clips on the Flowmaster site, but I'm still interested in the Super 44.

I was looking at that one, too.
It looks pretty cool.
You're keeping the old pipes on?

i bought my high flow cat at an exhaust shop down the street from my house.

i think Jigg sells them on his blazer/offroad enthusiast site.  www.synergyoffroad.com

EDIT:    THIS is the one on synergy offroad. its not a high-flow cat, its just a universal cat

Although my description doesn't say it, it is a high flow cat.  It's actually the one i have on my blazer... it's a great mod, IMO.

oh ok...    mine looks a lot like that one and i would have been hella-pissed if i paid for a high flow cat and ended up with a plain cat

a cat upgrade is they way to go.....its way too restrictive and baffles the sound quite a bit.
the stock muffler is like 3 feet long fer gosh darnit sake.

I know, it's big but surprisingly lets a lot of sound out. I'm just trying to upgrade as soon as possible.

I've noticed the fan is loud when it's cold out, and that does sound much louder than the actual exhaust, but once I give the engine more gas, the fan sound gets lower and it goes into that normal sound my truck gives out. It gives out a low toned kinda jeep sound.
