well guys i would first like to say that i was awake all night which may explain why i am so excited about something as simple as fog. now on to my oh so wonderful story.
i went out this morning at 6:30 to get one of my brothers to school by 7:00 because my moms out of town for the weekend. and it was completely dark and hot d**n was it foggy. we live in a low area 50 yds from a "lake", more like a large pond (.7 mi. around) so it gets foggy sometimes in the early morning but it outdid itself today. visiblility with my brights on was like 25 feet. once we got up and out it cleared up a little. at one point i was within 150 yds of a stoplight before i could see it at all. i got a few pics with my phone and i might upload them later if the quality is good enough that you can actually see anything.
so yea thats my wonderful story. im sure some of yall can top that without trying but i live between the foothills, and piedmont of NC so we're sheltered and hardly ever get any extreme weather. aside from this summers draught. (12 inches at for a while)

Wasn't much fog in the Charlotte area this morning.  Word of advice, don't drive in fog with your brights on.  The higher up, brighter the light is the more reflection you get off of the water vapor in the air.

We weren't that foggty here in Johnston county either. Kinda sticky as far as the humidity goes. It has either rained a little or dewed a lot this morning. The roads were wet.

It was super foggy here, I drive every morning from Crossville, TN to Harriman, TN...and Harriman is about 2k feet lower. Going down the moutain I swear I couldn't see the end of my hood.

Fog + highbeams = blind

Worst fog I've been in, I couldn't see the the lines of the road, and that's with my headlights off, and just my foglights on, with my old S10.

And it was ice fog, so I had to stop every 1/2 hour or so and clean ice off the antenna
