My blazer will not start at all, I read the code and it says that secuirty wont let fuel pump activate..

Anyone know how to disable this?

Disconnect the battery?

Edit heres the code

P1260 Theft Detected - Engine Disabled.   but it said fuel pump disabled

Are you sure it was P1260???
P1260 - Fuel Pump Speed Relay Control Circuit

But then again, I found this through OBDII.com (GM specific), but I do not think this is a code that applies to the S-series as there is no fuel pump speed relay in the s-series trucks.

Coupled with your other problem, Just died...., this may be the beginning of an ignition switch failure.

My '00 had security issues. Fortunately it was under warrenty, and the dealer replaced the ignition switch. It would start sometimes, and not others, when it didn't start the security light would come on.

It's a lot easier to help when we know what we're looking at.
