My suspension on my truck is worn about 146000 miles. How important is it for me to get new shocks or whatever at this point? because my plan is to get new shocks but i wasnt sure what kind to get and i was also wondering if this is all i need to get?

Just get new Bilstien shocks.. Have you ever changed your balljoints, pitman arm or idler arm? If not I would look into that as well.. You can look into Moog or Power Performance.
