I just did this today!!! Except for the headlights. I did those last week.

Notice the edges around the headlights, signals, and taillights

Before:

After:

I masked the lenses with tape and then painted the edges with Krylon Fusion gloss black.

*EDIT: changed a couple pictures.**

Taillights look much better, but it is difficult to see what was done to the headlights.

*EDIT*

Doesn't take long, costs about $8... why not?

Looks good, nice detail.  Did you do them on or off the truck?

Off of course.  Didn't want to risk any overspray.

Thanks. I'm trying to figure out what else to paint since I'm getting better at it.

Anything that's chrome->black.  That's my opinion of course.

I'll keep that in mind, but the grille is meant to break up the monotony. I want to keep it chrome.

I'm about to do away with the mud flaps on the back for sure and maybe paint the rear window finishing panels to match the body.

I did the headlights mainly to hide the caulk I used to seal up the drivers side headlight.

Yeah I like the detail job on the lights, they look more professional and clean looking now, rather than just something you got out of a box. Definately keep the grill crome, It would look bad IMHO if you painted that.
