I am considering adding a sub(s) to my 4dr. I went by a reputable local sound store and told them that I didn't want anything over the top but wanted something quality and was only looking for a single 10 inch sub. They showed me some opitons and by the time I would get the sub the box and the amp and have it installed it was pushing 350. They then showed me a special combo they were selling although it featured 2 subs instead of the one I had in mind. Anyway does this sound like a good deal and how will it sound; 2 Alpine type S 10 inch subs in a sealed box, plus an Alpine 400x amp; cost $417 installed?

sealed box I assume. seems like a decent deal if the price includes wiring, fuses, battery terminal, etc.

is it the mrp450?

would beat pretty decent, im sure you would be happy.

what single ten/amp were you looking at?

Yes the box is sealed and I think the model # for the amp is correct. They really didn't have to many combos set up for a single sub, they showed me a couple of options including a Rockford P3 and amp, and then they were trying to push a MAaudio 10 and a 800w amp, but I have never heard of this brand.

MA's old school.....maybe some people like em.....but id stay away.

the P3 would beat good, but i heard the cone cracks pretty easy.

If that deal includes everything like I mentioned, you'll come out on top....

$417 installed sounds like a pretty fair deal for everything you're getting...
