I have the AEM Brute Force intake, and all of the videos I've seen show that cool sucking sound, but mine doesn't really do that.
Are there mods that make that sound?

Everything is installed correctly?  Its all clamped together nice and tight?

If I had to mod it at all, i'd make an extension so it goes out of the engine like on 4 banger cars, but I know nothing about the CAI design in relation to the Blazer.

I saw once they make "amplifiers" or something for Civics so you can make the engine sound louder than it really is, but you're probably not a ricer..........................

I was thinking about that. You could probably do it easily because of where the carburetor is positioned. Just cut through the hood and have it stick out. And definitely NOT a ricer!

Mine makes a crazy loud sucking sound when I nail it.  I went with a K&N FIPK CAI kit.

Do you still have factory exhaust?

I know I can hear the air flying out my exhaust when I romp on the pedal, lol

Maybe your exhaust is too restrictive for the high powered sucking noise you're looking for...

I've heard good sounds with K&N
And yeah, I still have a stock exhaust. I was thinking maybe it is too restrictive.
I'm getting a new exhaust soon enough though.
I want that sucking sound.
I get it when I floor it, too, but on some you can hear it all the time.

It helps to upgrade the other breathing components like exhaust, headers, etc.
