i haven't seen any snow yet, all week it had been 70+, it has dropped off now though but still wont snow for a while and when it does it wont be much, maybe a couple of inches

jphayes921 -> RE: Post Your Snow Pics! (12/16/2007 3:55:07 PM)

we have all kinds of snow up here. driving has been fun. four wheel drive is getting a work out.

2000_BlzrLT -> RE: Post Your Snow Pics! (12/16/2007 5:25:26 PM)

I only use 4x4 when im stuck because i dont really slip that much and i like taking corners sideways lol

Idriveachevy -> RE: Post Your Snow Pics! (12/16/2007 5:26:51 PM)

Ahh.... snow drifting.   my favorite part of winter.  last winter me and a friend took out his moms MDX and he lost his drift and went sideways into a snowbank/icepile at like 30.

4wd is definatly nice to have in the snow in case u need to get somewhere. I live in central ct so i do find times when i need it but for the most part it is just so much fun in 2wd thats where it stays. If u really know how to feather the gas in the snow these trucks do some sweet drifts and donuts. Also 4wd sucks more gas lol

willjones -> RE: Post Your Snow Pics! (12/16/2007 5:54:39 PM)

It's good to hear how well these rigs do in the snow, because I am getting ready to move to Syracuse NY here in a few weeks and I was curious about how it was going to perform. No worries now expecially since i am about to get a set of 30X9.5 destination m/t.

2000_BlzrLT -> RE: Post Your Snow Pics! (12/16/2007 5:58:03 PM)

No worries with one of these trucks. My mom used to have a 97 blazer and the year we moved in my house we had a blizzard with over 20 inches of snow and she still got to work and the store. They are great. Something about them. The perfect blend of 4wd,weight,weight distribution, and size. It makes for a great winter vehicle.

stevelknievel -> RE: Post Your Snow Pics! (12/16/2007 8:01:41 PM)

i agree. i got some horrible 235/75 coopers and i was blasting through about 8 inches of snow in a field and bombing some pretty big banks....however after a 2wd game of tug of war with my buddys exploder, there are about 5 pounds of rubber on the ground and i have some bald tires lol

95_4door -> RE: Post Your Snow Pics! (12/16/2007 9:35:00 PM)

We got about a foot here. I had a bit of fun after work tonite. A little bit too much, actually. I messed up the front end a bit hitting drifts.

ouch that gotta hurt the wallet. id be pissed.

95_4door -> RE: Post Your Snow Pics! (12/16/2007 9:43:17 PM)

I was, but the more I thought about it, it just gives me an excuse to get a new front valence. This one was already cracked anyway.

Asimm -> RE: Post Your Snow Pics! (12/17/2007 6:40:22 AM)

Chevy Lover -> RE: Post Your Snow Pics! (12/23/2007 12:58:12 PM)

Here's one from about 3 weeks ago. It all melted and then we got an inch or so again yesterday.
Wait til late January or February, then we should have some good pics!
