I'd love to run a straight pipe. Cut it short and have it run out from under th door so it spits fire.
No muffler, no cat, but I can imagine the carbon monoxide. Any truck sounds amazing with straight pipes, but like me and my friends were saying, you'd be sitting at a train crossing and end up dieing in a cloud of exhaust.
Also you can't pass inspections with it due to high emissions.
My dad would probably get mad though, saying when I come home at 4 in the morning I'm waking up the neighborhood.

What looked good?
A dual tip?
I know the Chevy Suburbans have like 3" pipes though, so they all sound pretty good.

If you are going to run it out the back have them make ya duals. It looks much better than just one pipe coming out the back. I think they also look sharp being sideswept right in front of the rear tires.

YES, I was thinking about doing that but I think my muffler ends right behind the rear tire so it would be hard to run a pipe infront of it, and it would have to go under the frame so it would be a really weird bend.

The old suburban had the dual outs behind the rear wheel...

I liked it... Not just the sound (350!) but the look...

I'm wanting to send mine out the back with duals, not true duals, it would be too hard to get the pipes through, now wheres near enough space under there. I also want to get a Super 40 for it. The problem is when I finally have this done I'm going to do the whole thing, headers and all. My opinion is that if your going to do it might as well do it right.

I know, I looked under the truck and it looked impossible to run another pipe.
And yeah, the suburbans look really good with the pipe out the side like that. Not sure if I should go out the side, or straight to the back.
If I go straight to the back, I'll put dual tips. If I run it out the side, I'll just put the biggest tip that I can find.
