Got my front windows tinted yesterday and had a tint strip put on the windsheild. It barely legal.

Thanks guys.

Yeah I think its 35%. It may be 30% the guy just put the legal limit.

My headrest embroidery is an iron-on thing that I got from Gotcha Covered car & truck accessories. I don't know who makes it.

looks great. im thinking of getting mine done.  i got some money for xmas and i like the look of dark, dark tint.

a shop around here told me $170 for 35%on the front windows and as dark as i want in the back

the only thing is i dont know how it will look with lighter windows up front than in the back. thats how it is now but i think if i get like 5 or 10% in the back, it might look funny

also, with black leather seats and texas summers, dark tint sure would help

I'm about to do that, go to a shop and say put the darkest our legal limit allows, which I believe is 35%
What are your backs?
Also, are those factory side view mirrors?
I'm tired of my big ugly round ones.

Yeah they are factory mirrors. I want to get me some cal-vu mirrors soon. My rear windows are stock which I beleive is 17%. I just wanted to match up the front windows better.

Yeah, I want to match up my front with my rear, which are pretty dark for factory tints. I hate having tinted back windows and fronts with no tint.

i hear ya man. i did do mine illegal when i was still 16 ans mom was pissed but she didnt pay so i just did what i wanted, she got over it, but then i bought the blazer and done the same thing when i was 17 and we went around again. and just a few months ago (november) i took my step dad's harley truck to get the windows tinted for his birthday and once again i tinted them dark but only 20% instead of 15%. he loved it but she was mad once again.

I like it 35%. Dads truck is darker in the front and you can't see as good at night. He told Mom that it was legal, so she didn't raise a stink.

Looking good there Brent. I like the new tint, I have thought about getting that for a while now, but never have. Now that I see what 35% looks like up front I want to get it. I think I am going to have the underside coated too, to protect against rust and dampen road noise a little.
