Hey all...
I am looking at getting some step bars for my 04 4dr Blazer. I was thinking a set of the Lund Aluminum bars. Living in Minnesota I see a lot trucks with ones that are rusted. Does anyone know if the Aluminum ones hold up? Or any set for that matter. You ask the dealer and all they say is they don't rust. But that is obviously a bunch of bs because I see rusty ones all the time.

Go with Westin or Smittybuilt Stainless Steel step bars. Those will not rust.

I also recommend Stainless. Had a set on my '97 RAM for 4 years and that truck got driven in the crappiest weather ALL the time. Not even a hint of rust on the bars. Purchased mine for $300 from Advanced Autoparts.
