We woke up to a fresh dusting of snow this morning and it's supposed to snow a bit more for the nest day or so. We've had snow and melting a few times so far this year. Thumbnail Image

LOL Rob yea Arizona weather does suck especially since the rain dries up so fast within just a few days!! I did have fun with my blazer the other night when it did rain I got it sideways a few times drifting around corners and such. I love being lowered with a wider tire so much control and no body roll!! Rob when it gets wet again and you got time you should take a ride in my blaze!! LOL

If you never go sideways, it ain't worth driving Winter time rocks, especially when the customers you drive home live out of town and have really long windy driveways and give you an extra $50 for drifting the whole thing

lol how can u not get ur blazer sideways in snow or wet roads??? its sooo easy u mash the gas and crank the wheel (well lil more to it than that) the blazers r light in the back so they dont get that great traction in snow and stuff unless u got bigger tires

When ever I do that all I get is one wheel wonders :( I can drift our durango perfect but that has limited slip. I don't get how mine works like it does though all my friends cars/trucks with open diffs drift good mine just spins the inside tire around the corner it sucks :(

well ya the rear pass. side wheel is the drive wheel so u gotta think of how ur throwin the weight around a turn and adjust accordingly like for mine i can drift pretty good takin left turns not so good w/ right turns cuz of the weight and tire spin. see cuz since that wheel is the drive wheel its easy drifting left turns cuz the drive wheel loses traction and spins faster and in a turn the out side tire spins faster to get around the turn better so thats whats happening here

I don't get how mine works like it does though all my friends cars/trucks with open diffs drift good mine just spins the inside tire around the corner it sucks :( First, find a wide open parking lot to practice in ;) Try tapping the brakes right before you crank the wheel, and shift some of the weight forward. If you can find it, look for a DVD called the Drift Bible, by the Drift King... And find an anime called Initial D, and it'll help you out, lol. I've done quite a bit of drifting... I may be no professional, but if it's got wheels, there's a good chance I can drift the sucker, lol. Actually, I can probably get a friend to work a camera, have the other on a tripod so you can see what my blazer does right before a corner... I drive a 5 speed so it's a little easier for me... Also, try dropping your truck into 2nd before you turn, then your truck will be in a good gear (or 1st if you're going slow enough) and you won't have to floor it and wait for the down shift... Feel free to PM me for more advice Or add me to MSN if you've got it... I've got all sorts of little tips for this kind of thing... That's how I blew out the rear diff on my old Mazda pickup... In the snow, I could take a standard 2-lane city corner @ 50MPH with no hands on the steering wheel... and that truck was open diff. (for the record, that 2 lane city thing is just so people know the size of the path I was on... My uncle let me plow out a race track in the winter on his farm land, it was NOT on any public street.)

Oh trust me I can drift perfect in anything else besides the blazer haha. The only way it ever works is if say I'm going to drift a right hand corner I have to first turn it left a bit then right and give it gas to get the back to kick out then it drifts good but just turning and hitting the gas it usually just spins the inside tire and won't kick out. After it gets going I can link them just fine and everything. I miss driving the breeze in the winter that thing was a blast with the e-brake
