This is temporary until it warms up a little more and when i get more money. Theyre currently being run off a Directed D2400 amp @ 2 ohms :x  20 farad cap (just for looks).
Gonna be getting a Kicker ZX1500.1 and a 200 amp alt when i get some money together.
Porting the box in the summer, so it should SLAM!

Edit: they are at 2 ohms, not 4

Damn dude if you dont have the alt then what else you have to power those. I have my 4 12's with 3 2000 watt amps and my 200 amp can barely handle it. Even when I 2 12's it still couldn't handle it.

my stock alt holds my 2 12's just fine and they are 1200 watt rms subs each, i love my set up, but im thinking about upgrading to a new box to make it louder, i hit 135.3 db at the headrests with the box i have now, i want more!

in response to the duct tape, its supposed to be a sealed box temporarily, but i dont want to silicon it because once i do its hard to get apart. i will be porting it when summer rolls around and it gets warmer.

in response to what i have powering it, i currently have 2 batteries and a 20 farad cap. prevents the car from stalling out most of the time, but its gotta be hell on my charging system. getting a 200 ASAP.

im not sure whats up with my charging system, i just think it sucks or something. maybe i have a short somewhere, but yet again, something i have to look into when summer rolls around.

your subs are getting 1200 watts each?, or are rated for 1200 watts?

amps suck power.....not subs....

rated, they are getting around 950 to 1000 watts each, i have 2 Power Acoustik LT2600's powering them, they are rated at 1000 rms. so im thinking im pushing around 2000 watts through my brain everytime i crank it!
