i was able to find a donor truck for my 4 speed conversion. its a 78 k truck. my question is: are the trans tunnels in a 4 speed blazer the same as a 4 speed blazer? both 78's? i figure they are the same and could be wleded in with no problem but will i run into any problems? for example- the trans hump is much tall er or wider than a blazer? also i figure id have to shorten the drive shaft cuz its a long wheel base and i have a 700r4. if anyone has done this before or ran into a similar situation please let me knoe before i buy the truck for 400 bux!!

You can just bump the original thread on this subject... That is preferable as opposed to double posting the same question or a slight variation...
