alrighty......getting ready to head to the shop in a little bit to get the front panels installed, speakers installed, and drop off the rear panels.  So between today and tomorrow i should have the front done.  Also in the works in the coming months (since its not released yet) is a new 2008 pioneer avh 4000 double din touch screen, and a custom fabbed center console.  Will post pics asap

Looks like factory interior except for the topmost part, the little triangle where the mirror mounts to on the outside.  Or is it just the picture playing tricks?

VERY clean!

Looks nice. Whats up with the mirror mount triangle area (seems a little wrinkled or something)? Otherwise I really like the speaker enclosure area and the crossover window. Are you going with 2 speakers and a tweeter in each rear door panel too? Can't wait to see all the way done, keep up the great work.

Looks fantastic bro. I love when people take the time to give it an OEM look. Too many people around here are just making MDF baffles covered in vinyl and calling it custom pods...

it pretty much is the factory door panel...but everything is wrapped in tweed.  The guy who did it did not have a sewing maching to properly do the top piece (where the triangle is) so when he gets a maching he's gonna take the panels back off and stitch right there to pull it in tighter.

as for the rear...im gonna be running a set of rainbow coax's in the rears just for fill.....but these speakers sound amazing.  i was listening to Metallica S&M on the way home and live music on there = amazing lol

so did you end up keeping the "enclosures" for the 6.5's or did you IB them to the door? Looks nice though.

we cut out the back end of them and are basically using the door for the enclosure.  The shop was worried about it sounding good as well and we put them in...didnt sound right and then just cut them out.  it sounds amazing now.  Im gonna be putting a set of tweets up in the dash and running them off the HU just to fill some more sound out of the front

I honestly think u should switch out to the 4x6 plates. More fill and you wont just be getting that high high end frequency ya know.

btw Skynard sounded bad ass =D

Since when do 4x6 plates play higher frequencys than tweeters?
