i just baught a 85 s10 blazer and am wanting to lower it just about an inch or so. Not alot i still want room for 20's and during the winter i still want to go off roading. What are some ways things i should look into.

you can adjust the torsion bars to lower the front up to 2"...   there shouldnt be as much wear and tear (as there would be with lifting) since lowering it would actually make the CV shafts more level.

you can put some blocks b/w the axle and leaf springs to lower the rear.

ok say i wanted to do more mayeb 3 in the fron 3 in the rear maybe more. how low could i go and 4x4 still be fucntional? And waht kits or parts would you recomend?

Look into Belltech for their 3/3 drop kits. The kit will include new torsion drop keys and 3" drop blocks for the rear. You can do a 3/3 drop and still have your 4wd fully functional.

In a way I don't but I kinda do. Maybe he can't find or afford a 2x to lower, maybe he doesn't like the jacked up look but wants a 4x4. Me I have my 4x4 and had my bagged truck. Starting on a bagged project as soon as I find a blazer 2x

idk if torsion keys would work i have an 85?? but how much for the shocks??

Belltech Torsion Keys are for 82-04 S10 Blazers. So they will work on your truck and so will the shocks. PM me for pricing.

ok so i am goin to buy Belltech Torsion Keys 1"-3" and (4) Brand New Belltech Nitro Drop 2 shocks. Do i have to get 3 inch drop blocks or could i get 4 inch?? the 4 inch should have it at an even stance right?
