I have a 2005 Trailblazer and the front Intermittent Wipers have stopped working. I can turn the wipers on full-speed, but that is all that will work. It works fine on full-speed, but this can be annoying if its just barely raining. It seems that if the motor were bad, the wipers would not work at any speed. Are there separate fuses? If so, where is the fuse box that controls the wiper motor? Before the intermittent wipers stopped working completely, I could try to turn them on and they might wipe every now and then, but not consistently. Then all of a sudden, they worked fine for a couple of weeks. Now, the intermittent wiping has stopped completely.

Have a look through these diagnostic trouble charts.  They should lead you in the right direction atleast.  If you have any questions along the way, please post up!

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
5. This step tests for continuity through the 380 ohms resistor in the windshield wiper/washer switch.
6. This step tests for continuity through the delay resistors in the windshield wiper/washer switch. The measured resistance will change in sequence from low to high as the delay speed is increased.

Hope this helps!
