I think this is my final upgrade to my truck which I just got in not to long ago. The accell 300+ ingnition system. I have put on so far a Gibson exhuast, CAI, throttle body spacer, super coil, Hypertech programmer 111, electric fan, performance pulleys, B&M supercooler, B&M tranny pan, and some purple oil. Now this ignition system will top it off. I will write back later after install to let you know how it runs.

well I tell you that it was not much of a horse powerlike 10n but the throttle response is 30% better. But everything put together makes the ride neck snapping.

What coil are you running? I hope it isn't an accell. I have heard nothing but bad things about Accell ignition modules and coils once temperatures go back up in the summer. Good luck, but if you start to have trouble, I'd look at replacing the Accell items first.

Well I hope not for 270 buck I just spent on the 300+ ignition system and 52 bucks for the super coil. Why does it give problems in the summer?

From what I understand, the electronics over heat and melt themselves down. Not enough of a robust design and a lack of adequate cooling. The heat sinks are a joke if you don't mount them in an area that gets air flow.

How was the installation? How well did it integrate in with the factory controls?

Gibson actually makes an exhaust for our trucks? Where can I get it?

GO to summitracing.com and do a new search for your vehicle bam exhuast sytems and there you go. The installation was easy plug the coil plug to the accel and the accel plug to the coil and thats it.
