When I was installing my lights on the roof, I pulled back the carpet on the roof, inside the car...

This plug was just hanging there on the drivers side...I pulled it out and i cant seem to find what its for...

I can only see 2 plugs that look similar to that in the wiring schematics. One is for the rear wiper and power tailgate release and the other is for an auto day/night mirror and cell phone.
If your rear wiper is working it's probably for a cell phone option. It's common for the auto makers to install wiring that is not used....just in case.

A cell phone option?

Please explain in more detail....and yes my rear wipers are working.
