Do you think it would be possible to tuck some 33x12.50R15 on 15x8's with a 2" body lift, 2" shackles and 1.5" tbar crank  without basically murdering my inner fenders and massive ammounts of trimming? Its a 95 Blazer 4door 4wd. Anyone run this setup? pictures if anyone runs it?

Rcars2 did a little trimming but he also has that body lift on his as well, and that helps a bunch!! Yes you can stuff them under with the setup you are talking about like Rcars2 did with minimal trimming!!!

thats what i'd like to do but my backspacing is 3.75" and it rubs with my 2inch suspension lift and 31x10.50s... could i stuff 33s with a body lift on those rims that i have?

howdy fellas, new guy here, this is the same setup Ive decided to go with, it seems to be the best way to get 33's under the ol blazer without breaking the bank. So if i crank up the t-bars, install 2" shackles, and slap on a 2" body lift what would be the best backspacing to run to minimize rubbing/trimming? also does anyone know what the total additional amount of ground clearance is when using this setup and has anyone had any major problems with this setup?? thanks alot fellas all info. is greatly appreciated

Stock back spacing is 6" so you are going to want to stay as close as possible to that number. But since it's harder to find wheels for our 4wd's really I wouldn't go lower than 4.5" backspace. But regardless you are going to have to do some trimming anyway. On my truck I'm running a 4.5" backspace with 32's but I'm lifted 6" and still have to trim a little. That's my .02...

Isn't the width a pretty important number here too? I would imagine a 33x12.50 will be significantly more trouble to fit problem-free than a 33x10.50.  And I would rather rub on fender than frame, so I say stick to the lower numbered backspacing, but that's just me!

33x10.5 ew, very weird looking tire. and id rather rub frame then fender, theres no sharp edges on the frame that will pop your tire .

You can always trim and hammer back fender though, and have a perfectly fine vehicle.  If you turn the tire into the frame over the course of a long time, I would imagine you're causing a whole lot of weird wear to the tire and front end parts!

Edit: ok not perfectly fine, but no adverse mechanical effects

my fenders are as trimmed/far back as they go. I dont rub fender only frame, and id rather rub frame, i dont see how it would cause wear on front end parts, i only rub frame on almost full lock, so it isnt really a big deal anyway.

Ah ok, that's not bad at all then!  The only way I could see front end issues is if you kept pushing the turn and it was hitting frame.  Like turning into a curb repetedly.  But I'm just thinking outloud, you're the one that's done it!

Im planning on taking the front valance off but dont want to have to completely butcher my fenders! do yall think id be better of going with a 10.5 or 12.5" wide tire? sorry so many questions i just dont wanna buy a bunch of parts and be disgusted with myself!

11.5 might be a happy medium.  33x10.50 is a bit rectangular for my taste like 95Blazer was saying. But it's up to you.  You just need to be prepared to take steps to get the setup you want!

What size wheel are you planning on running? 15 x 7 or 15 x 8?
