I recently purchased a 2002 ZR2 Blazer right now it is sitting totally stock other then a brush guard on the front.  I would like to stick a set of 33x12x15’s under it but I am not sure how much I would have to lift the truck to squeeze those tires under it.  I was thinking I would get a 2 inch body lift, put two inch blocks on the rear leaf springs and tweak the torsion bars to raise the front an inch to an inch and a half.  Would this be enough to get those 33x12x15’s under my ZR2?  Would I have any problems getting my brush guard to line up after doing this?  Thanks for your help.

blocks on the springs would actually lower the rear. unlike full size trucks with leafs on top of the axle, us blazers have the leafs under the axle. blocks push the leafs away (down)...

you can get add-a-leafs or lift shackles for the rear. theres a member here named Jigg with an identical setup. theres also a member here (non ZR2) named Rcars2 who has also done the same thing. they both have 33x12.5's
